Joe Fournier takes on former multi-division titleholder David Haye for Triller Fight Club. This boxing bout transpires at Legends II on September 11th.
The career light heavyweight clashes with the former unified cruiserweight champion and world heavyweight champion at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California with the broadcast going on FITE TV pay-per-view.
I recently spoke to the 9-0 boxer with the 100 percent finishing rate. The excerpt from my interaction with the latter part of Haye vs Fournier at the Triller virtual media day is below.

I was seeing an article going around saying that at one point you were training Jay Z.
I’m kind of wondering just with Triller’s music-oriented platform, are we ever going to get Jay Z to walk you out at any point in the future?
“Oh man, I’ve seen so many articles going around. Let me just tell you, my musical career stops in the shower. But I do love watching all the Verzuz stuff. I went to a live one in Miami and it was really incredible. I said it in the last fight, just being a part of the combination of music and bringing all these amazing cultures together. From Latinos and urban culture to sports and music. It’s just cool for me being from Hounslow, which was a melting point in London of different cultures. Just to kind of continue to be on these incredible shows.”
“Like David said, it’s called Legends II for a reason. I’m humbled to be on the card. Oscar De La Hoya is one of the best ever in history. I mean, I just remember watching him thinking ‘Holy hell, how did you get that good?’ So just to be able to be part of the show where I’m on the same poster for me, like I said, is just really special. So yeah, the music element is a big part to me. But I’m a better fan than I am a performer.”
