Italian DJ formally presses charges against Conor McGregor after alleged assault

Italian DJ, Francesco Facchinetti, formally pressed charges against former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor for allegedly assaulting him at a party in Rome.

The alleged incident took place at the St. Regis Hotel in Rome. Facchinetti accuses McGregor of attacking him unprovoked leaving him with injuries to his face and neck. On Tuesday, Facchinetti told CNN that he decided to press charges “because the world needs to know the fact that he is dangerous.”

The Carabinieri police in Mariano Comasco confirmed to CNN that Facchinetti and his lawyer formally pressed charges on Tuesday.

Facchinetti claims that he was part of a group that McGregor invited to the hotel for a party. When Facchinetti and the group said that they wanted to leave, Facchinetti alleges that McGregor punched him.
