As a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, now working as a DoD Civilian, I personally love Vet Tix and all that the charity organization stands for.
Vet Tix secures tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational and family activities across the nation, and provides them to currently-serving Military and Veterans, including immediate family of troops killed-in-action.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based mixed martial arts promotion, 247 Fighting Championship donates tickets ($1,500 value) to Vet Tix, which allows registered Vet Tix users to attend the MMA shows at no cost.
247 FC now has a problem on their hands… but it is a good problem to have.
According to the MMA promotion’s website, Vet Tix notified them that all 200 tickets which were donated, had been requested and issued out during the 24-hour lottery that made it possible for Veterans to attend the upcoming 247 FC: Brawl in the Burgh 10 on February 5.
As a result of the high demand, 247 FC President Ryan Middleton has offered a plan so that you too can support veterans with a ticket to the upcoming show at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
For the first time, 247 FC is opening up a “donation” section on their ticketing page. With this, it’s quick and easy to donate tickets for veterans.
Here’s how it works:
- Head to the 247 FC ticketing page (click here).
- Scroll down.
- In the “Donate Tickets for Veterans” field, enter the amount you’d like to donate. (Every ticket costs $50, so to donate two tickets, enter $100, etc.)
- Complete checkout like usual from there.
From there, 247 FC will take the donations and reserve tickets for veterans who were unable to secure their tickets during the Vet Tix 24-hour lottery.
Then, they’ll get to see Khama Worthy, Ethan Goss, Cam Allgeier, Syd Ross, Gavin Teasdale, Edwin Vera, Justin Patton, and the rest of the stacked Brawl in the Burgh 10 fight card up-close and personal.

Thank you to 247 FC for their support to Veterans, and thank you to you, the MMA fan who are helping go the extra mile. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
