No. universal DH, expanded MLB postseason in 2021: Sources

An expanded postseason and universal designated hitter will not be implemented in Major League Baseball in 2021 and are currently dead issues with no recent movement or planned further discussion, multiple people with knowledge of the communications between MLB and the Players Association said this week.

The possibility for reversals can’t be ruled out, but both MLB and the Players Association are proceeding as if the National League will play this season without a DH and the playoff field will remain at 10 teams.
