The Marlins are traditionally among baseball’s worst teams when it comes to home attendance. In 2019, for example, the last fully-attended MLB season, Miami ranked last at 10,016 per game, more than 4,000 behind the next-closest team, Tampa Bay. The same was true in 2018 with Miami averaging 10,013, again more than 4,000 behind Tampa Bay, which was next-to-last.
