Longtime MLB.com reporter Joe Frisaro introduces new baseball site

This show’s special guest needs no introduction. From 2002 through the 2020 season, Joe Frisaro was MLB.com’s Miami Marlins beat reporter. He’s been through all the highs and lows, and he’s not done yet. Alex Contreras and Ely Sussman spoke with Frisaro about notable Marlins players past and present, the always-evolving sports media industry, his favorite foods to grill and everything he’s trying to accomplish with his new website, Man On Second Baseball (MO2).

Enjoy Episode 24!

Frisaro’s coverage in 2021 will include amateur baseball, the minor leagues and other MLB teams, but the Marlins remain a high priority for him. Read up on what he has written recently about Trevor Rogers, Brad Hand and Luis Castillo, and subscribe to MOB’s YouTube channel.

His MLB.com successor, Christina De Nicola, joined us on the podcast in January.
