Delaware erupted for eight first quarter goals and never trailed in a 19-9 seasson-opening victory over NJIT. Mike Robinson scored the first Blue Hen goal and had a monster day, finishing with six goals and three assists. Robinson’s teammates on the attack unit — JP Ward and Clay Miller — also combined for seven goals. Arthur Miller led NJIT with three goals and Billy Kroeger won 20 of 25 faceofffs.
