It seems like ages ago that MIAA No. 4 Lincoln-Sudbury began the season 1-2.

Since suffering back-to-back defeats to No. 1 St. John’s Prep and No. 2 BC High, LS has been arguably the hottest team in the MIAA. On Friday, the Warriors (8-2) traveled south in search of their seventh consecutive win as LS squared off with No. 7 Duxbury.

Throughout this winning streak which saw a Coach’s Cup championship, defense has been the name of the game for the Warriors after having held some potent offenses such as No. 6 Hingham and rival Concord-Carlisle to single-digit goals. This trend continued on Friday night i
