Race 1: Wah Fu Handicap

#7 Universal Crown closed impressively first-up to finish fourth. He’ll have taken plenty of benefit from that performance and this contest looks suitable. #1 Iron King steps down to Class 5. He won with ease in this grade at his last try before moving up to Class 4. The booking of Zac Purton warrants respect. #6 This Is Charisma mixes his form but there is definitely ability there. A win is close. #3 Zacian is next best. The good gate helps and he was very well supported first-up this term. Keep safe.

Race 2: Fuk Loi Handicap

#4 Ready To Win caught the eye with an impressive trial on the dirt just last week. Suspect he’s ready to fire first-up in Hong Kong, especially on a surface he seems to like with the added bonus of gate two. #5 Invincible Missile pairs with familiar ally Zac Purton. These two have combined twice for the win and his booking deserves respect. #9 Our Creed might be worth taking a chance on at a price. Suspect he rolls forward to try and pinch this. Back on the win and place line. #10 Super Axiom is in contention.

Race 3: Shun Lee Handicap

#11 Darci Joy showed a stack of potential last season. Suspect he’s come on with it based on his latest trial at Conghua and he gets his chance near the bottom of the handicap. #8 Sunny Delight did well first-up on the dirt, closing for a tidy third. Joao Moreira hops up here and the inside gate is favourable. #10 Golden Bolt is improving. He gets his chance but will need to offset the awkward draw. #1 Unicornbaby steps away from gate one. Suspect he rolls forward as he has done in the past.

Race 4: Oi Man Handicap

#2 Fourawarrior steps out for the in-form Zac Purton/David Hayes combination. These two snatched a double at the midweek fixture and their good form can continue here. Gate two suits and his most recent trial was tidy. He’s progressive. #12 Amazing Knight closed brilliantly last start. He’s the value of the race, especially with added fitness. #9 The Best Hero just can’t get his nose in front but his consistency should see him rewarded once again. #8 Fortune Happiness has claims in a deep contest.

Race 5: Kwong Fuk Handicap

#9 Boom Stitch has shown a stack of potential in his trials. He owns a powerful turn of foot and with a clean run he looks capable of going on with it on debut. #4 Infinity Win has done well with two placings from his first two runs. Draw 10 isn’t ideal but an in-form Zac Purton will know what to do. #6 Street Scream knocked up a neat first win last time out. He might need the run but he definitely has a bit of class about him. #1 Turbo Power has pieced together a nice record. Joao Moreira’s up now. Keep safe.

Race 6: Shun Lee Handicap

#9 Good Beauty closed nicely first-up. He’s a solid operator who owns a slick personal best over this course and distance. Any improvement from his first-up run should see him with a chance. #13 Voyage Star gets in light. He’s another who should improve from their first-up run and the booking of Alexis Badel is worth noting. #10 Breeze Of Spring scored well last time out. He’ll need a race run to suit as he does regularly give his opponents a head start. #3 Awe can turn his form around. Don’t discount.

Race 7: G3 Celebration Cup Handicap

#3 Sky Darci returns here off the back of a campaign that encompassed Derby glory and an end of season G3 victory. He steps out following a tidy trial effort and although he might not be fully wound up yet, his ability can take him a long way here. #2 Mighty Giant is tough as nails and he looks the likely pacesetter. He can kick on and this distance is ideal. #4 Champion’s Way is consistent in his spot. The light galloping weight helps him here. #1 Southern Legend has the class. He’s next best albeit with a hefty impost.

Race 8: Fu Tai Handicap

#5 Packing Victory is a serious talent on the rise and he looks very well placed to grab a third consecutive win here. Gate two suits and he shapes up as a prospect with plenty more still to come. #3 Five Elements steps out on debut. He’s trialled well and does have a bit of class about him as a New Zealand G2 winner. #2 Master Delight commands respect. His Australian form is excellent and he looks the value here. Back each way. #1 Ima Single Man has the runs on the board. Next best.

Race 9: Hing Man Handicap

#5 Uncle Steve is a better horse than his record suggests. He’s at a winnable mark and his latest trial was very, very good. He can get an overdue win, he just needs the right run. #4 Maldives is in career-best form as a two-time winner from his last three starts. Gate 14 will make his life hard but his recent form is hard to ignore. #12 Proud Dragon closed nicely for fourth on debut. Any improvement has him challenging this group. #1 Craig’s Star is next best.

Race 10: Cheung Hong Handicap

#1 Naboo Attack is a sublime talent. He broke 1m 08s over this course and distance, the only horse in the field to have done so. He’s a big hulking galloper who has the size and looks to match his ability. #5 Killer Bee has four wins from five starts. This will be his biggest test to date but he does still appear to have plenty up his sleeve. #10 Winner Method is nothing but consistent. He slots in light but like a lot of these, is going to need to step up sharply. #8 Loving A Boom has claims.
