The Greater Accra Handball Association has today, Sunday 5th July, 2020 paid a solemn visit to the family of the late Saka Acquaye here in Accra, Kaneshie.
This was to commiserate with the family over their loss.
The association used the opportunity to reveal how important the handball enthusiast, Mr. Saka Acquaye was to the association.
They also encouraged the family to stay strong during this difficult time.
The association presented some items to the family which includes 8 cartons of mineral water and 2 cartons of soft drinks.
The family also expressed their gratitude to the association for the kind gesture.
In attendance at the meeting was the President, Paul Kofi Yesu Dadzie, General Secretary, Eric Sena Adjeyi, Technical Director, E.T Sabutey, PRO, Nicholas Akussah and Excecutive Member, Gifty Okai.
A book of condolence was also signed by the president Paul Kofi Yesu, on behalf of the association.
Mr. Saka Acquaye, who was working at the NSA as the Dep. Director General, Technical passed away at the 37 military hospital.
The sad incident occured on Wednesday 24th June, 2020.
Until his demise, he was a vital figure at the Hostac handball Club.
He was 58 yrs.
