4. Adem Asil TUR 14.466
5. Roman Vashchenko UKR 13.866
6. Brody Malone USA 13.200
7. Nikita Simonov AZE 13.066
8. Artur Avetisyan ARM 12.866

10:52 am. Tisha Volleman NED UB: Shaposh to Gienger, good! blind change with some arch going into the Jaeger, bail to clear hip to toe shoot, good! Blind full to full-in, a little low but pulls up quickly, small step forward. 13.333 (5.2, 8.133)

10:50 am. Roman Vashchenko UKR SR: Maltese to iron cross, swings to invert hang up to inverted cross, a little shaky and arched maybe? Handstand after was fine, double ipke to maltese, legs were angled down, invert cross to pike, then pressed to planche, maybe didn’t hold it quite long enough. Double double came down REALLY low, big stumble forward. 13.866 (6.0, 7.866)

10:46 am. Anastasiya Smantsar BLR UB: She was a first-year senior last year but hoping she can step it up this year since she didn’t get to do much in 2021. Lovely handstand before the toe-on to van Leeuwen, maybe some knee bend before she caught, inbar to inbar half to straddle Jaeger, nice! Bent early on the handstand while going into the bail, not quite at handstand, full pirouette after is also late, toe shoot, good handstnad before giants to double pike, hop back. All of her handstands had little bends in them…if she can tighten her hips this will be a good set. 13.100 (4.9, 8.200)

10:44 am. Adem Asil TUR SR: Maltese, presses down then pushes back up to planche, wild. Swings back through to planche, then up to handstand, a tiny bit shaky, invert cross angle looked a little off, to maltese, down to iron cross, double tuck up to handstand, double double with a step back. 14.466 (6.2, 8.266)

10:41 am. Adelina Rylko BLR UB: The newest Belarusian senior! Handstand was nice before the toe-on to blind change to straddle Jaeger, kinda far but she catches, bail wasn’t to handstand, toe-on to toe full was super late as well, loses her rhythm and has to kip back up for the toe shoot, catches it a little high and close, double pike with a step back. 11.733 (4.5, 7.233)

10:38 am. Ibrahim Colak TUR SR: Presses up to planche through to maltese, really clean, invert hang up to planche, double tuck to double pike to maltese, iron cross, invert hang with a pike through to iron cross, invert hang up to handstand, holding it super well, piked double front stuck COLD! Beautiful routine. 14.733 (6.1, 8.633)

10:35 am. Daniela Batrona UKR UB: Inbar to Chow to Pak, lovely. Stalder to Maloney to layout Gienger, some leg separation makes this look a bit messy, toe full, blind change to front giant to straddle Jaeger, caught close, short on a handstand before her giants, double pike with a small step back. I love her lines so much on this event, and her stalder work is to die for. Little things holding her back (the occasional leg separation) but love her! 12.966 (5.3, 7.666)

10:32 am. Vahagn Davtyan ARM SR: Pulls up right to a planche, down to invert hang through to iron cross, lovely. Presses out to maltese. Invert hang, swings through to handstand, took maybe a second to adjust up into it. Double pike to maltese position was nice, to iron cross, invert hang to planche, adjusted his hip position in there, stuck the full-twisting double layout! Chest down but nice landing. 14.600 (6.0, 8.600)

10:26 am. Aiyu Zhu GER UB: Toe half to straddle Jaeger, caught kinda close, bail, legs bend as she catches, good job getting that back to handstand without coming off the bar though still obviously a big deduction, toe shoot, toe full is a little late, blind change to front giant into a layout rudi dismount. 11.800 (4.3, 7.500)

10:23 am. Nikita Simonov AZE SR: Planche, invert hang through to maltese, invert hang to maltese, invert hang, swings up to handstand, through to planche and then back to an invert hang rolled through to an iron cross. invert pike pressed to hang, double tuck to double pike to handstand, a little shaky, ugh, full-twisting double layout to his hands and knees, looked like he just released a little too early. 13.066 (6.0, 7.066)

10:20 am. Sanna Veerman NED UB: Nabieva, a little pike but not bad, Downie to Pak, released a little late and didn’t get as much height as she needed for the Pak so she lost a bit of form, Maloney to Bhardwaj, some leg form, van Leeuwen with some leg separation as well, blind change to front giant with a half turn before her giants into a blind full, then more giants into a full-in, a bit low with some steps forward. The end was weird, just lost steam a little I guess? 13.166 (6.1, 7.066)

10:17 am. Artur Avetisyan ARM SR: Planche pressed down to hang, through to maltese, to iron cross, nice. Invert hang, up to handstand, looks tight there, double pike up to maltese, invert hang back up to planche, angle looks good from here, drops to invert hang then back up to iron cross, oh NO, way arches over on the last handstand and completely falls out of it. REALLY sucks!!! Full-twisting double layout dismount with a hop. 12.866 (5.8, 7.066)

10:14 am. Lea Marie Quaas GER UB: Lovely first handstand before the Maloney to bail (ankle separation) to toe full, arches over a bit but she pulls it together into a toe shoot, blind change to piked Jaeger, some foot form but decent height, toe half wasn’t near vertical, good landing on the double tuck dismount. 12.433 (4.6, 7.833)

10:10 am. Brody Malone USA SR: Invert hang to maltese to invert hang through to another maltese, up to an inverted cross, double pike to planche, swinging a bit and fighting to hold it in position, swings through to a straddle hold, presses out to planche, this one’s better, handstand near the end is a tiny bit shaky, double double dismount with a hop back. Little things in there will get him. 13.200 (5.7, 7.500)

10:07 am. Ofir Netzer ISR UB: Toe half to Ezhova, nice! Maloney to Gienger, some leg form on the first element, clear hip to toe full, little form things in that, and a double pike dismount, takes two big steps forward but she’s happy with that! She looks great. 12.400 (4.9, 7.500)

10:05 am. Courtney Tulloch GBR SR: Some maltese elements to start, second into an inverted hang back to maltese, double pike up to handstand, strong there, swing through to planche that presses down to an iron cross, invert pike through to iron cross, inverted hang up to handstand, full-twisting double layout, some hip form and a little low with a step forward. 14.500 (6.1, 8.400)

9:48 am. WOMEN’S VAULT STANDINGS

3. Brody Malone USA 14.133
4. Joshua Nathan GBR 14.133

6. Alexander Myakinin ISR 13.500
7. Nariman Kurbanov KAZ 13.466
8. Matvei Petrov ALB 12.766

9:44 am. Selma Halvorsen NOR VT: FTY, some leg form in the air was noticeable in that her knees were both bent and apart, small step back. 12.700 (4.2, 8.500)

Second vault is a tsuk back pike, cleaner than the first in terms of her legs, but still a little form things throughout. Great landing, though! 12.100 (3.4, 8.700)

12.400 average

9:42 am. Alexander Myakinin ISR PH: Scissors, good, one-arm swing, also fine. Works a lot on the single handle, which looks good, includes some Russians there, then Russians between the handles, bent his hips and knees significantly before his travels but got it back pretty quickly, more Russians near the end, going right into the dismount. 13.500 (6.1, 7.400)

9:39 am. Wiktoria Lopuszanska POL VT: Handspring front tuck half with a small hop to the side, not hugely powerful, but very controlled for the most part! And very clean. 12.700 (3.8, 8.900)

Second vault is a Yurchenko full, form isn’t as tight here, both in her hips and knees being a bit soft. Good landing, though! 13.066 (4.2, 8.866)

12.883 average

9:36 am. Nariman Kurbanov KAZ PH: Scissors at the beginning go well, one-arm swings also decent, but then at one point while circling he fully bends his knees and it throws him off, literally. Tries the skill again when he gets back on, successful this time. Hip form gets weaker near the end but he hits the rest. 13.466 (6.3, 7.166)

9:34 am. Tjasa Kysselef SLO VT: Yurchenko 1.5, comes off the table a little lower than she’s capable of and she’s a tiny bit crooked, hops to the side on the landing. A little soft in the air but not too severe. 13.433 (4.6, 8.833)

Second vault is a handspring front tuck full, the pre-flight form is a little messier than she’s usually capable of but she tightens up in the air and lands it with a big step to the side. 12.933 (4.2, 8.733)

13.183 average

9:31 am. Filip Ude CRO PH: Scissors with directional changes, right into his swing, great body line throughout, Russians go well, good level changes as he travels up and down between the handles and horse, a little iffy going into the dismount but he doesn’t struggle much at all…this is a good one! 14.366 (5.7, 8.666)

9:29 am. Keira Rolston-Larking NZL VT: Handspring front tuck, lovely form on the handspring and In the air! Big hop forward but this was overall very nice. 12.500 (3.6, 8.900)

Second vault is a Yurchenko layout, again has really tight form for the most part, bends a bit near the landing and she’s lacking some power but lots of promise with her. 12.266 (3.6, 8.666)

12.383 average

9:26 am. Nils Dunkel GER PH: Muscled up out of a scissor to handstand, but gets back into the swing of things pretty quickly. Some hip angle throughout but overall has nice clearance above the horse. A little rushed into the dismount and doesn’t quite make it to full vertical on the handstand but gets the dismount. 13.966 (5.6, 8.366)

9:20 am. Ofir Netzer ISR VT: Tsuk full, really just the hip form in the air, but this is a super impressive vault! Big bounce back on the landing. 13.200 (4.4, 8.800)

Second vault is a handspring front pike, a tiny bit of knee bend before the landing and a hop forward but excellent front handspring technique overall, this was a GREAT set. 12.766 (3.8, 8.966)

12.983 average

9:17 am. Matvei Petrov ALB PH: Scissor to handstand to scissors, goes smoothly into his swing, good one-arm swing, pretty great extension so far, some leg form going up into handstand for pirouettes, comes back down right into flairs, travels in flairs, again really solid extension, ugh, but then he can’t get to handstand at all, legs come down and he falls onto the horse and then just kinda hops off the side, I don’t believe this will get credit. Gets back on and tries it again, UGH. So good to that point. 12.766 (6.2, 6.566)

9:14 am. Samira Gahramanova AZE VT: Tsuk layout, pretty big leg separation in pre-flight, noticeable flexed feet in the air along with some hip form, and then a lunge back. 12.033 (3.4, 8.633)

Second vault is a handspring front pike, not a huge block, bends her knees in the air, then lands back on her heels and sits. 11.266 (3.8, 7.466)

11.649 average

9:11 am. Illia Kovtun UKR PH: Scissors to handstand back down to scissors, then some single handle work, pirouettes in handstand, flairs, back for some single handle work, all good so far, working slow and steady. Russians on single handle, then betwen the handles, moves across the horse in Russians, very nice. Really has to muscle the handstand at the end but gets the dismount! 14.700 (6.3, 8.400)

9:08 am. Alba Petisco ESP VT: FTY, pretty clean in the air and a decent amount of power too! Just a hop back. 13.200 (4.2, 9.000)

Second vault is a tsuk layout, some leg separation in pre-flight and she doesn’t get a huge block, hop back. Again though, mostly solid. 12.633 (3.8, 8.833)

12.916 average

9:05 am. Brody Malone USA PH: Scissors with a lot of changes in direction, good, one arm swing, then Russians on the single handle, travels well, transitions to the handstand well, really great routine! 14.133 (5.8, 8.833)

9:03 am. Maria Tronrud NOR VT: FTY, small hop back at first but then she lunges one leg back and that foot goes OOB. Actually looked mostly strong in the air. 12.800 (4.2, 8.700, -0.1 ND)

Second vault is a tsuk back pike, chest forward on the landing and a small step back. 12.200 (3.4, 8.800)

12.500 average

9:00 am. Joshua Nathan GBR PH: A little stuck in his scissor to handstand at the start but really nice going into his swing, just some hip angle that keeps him kind of stuck throughout. Handstand pirouette was well done and transitioned well, he also had some single handle work and flairs that were strong. Legs were a little low in the Russians, and he completely bent his knees going into the handstand for his dismount, but a nice, solid routine overall. 14.133 (6.7, 7.433)

8:48 am. MEN’S FLOOR STANDINGS

1. Yahor Sharamkou BLR 13.933
2. Aurel Benovic CRO 13.766
3. Thomas Grasso ITA 13.700
4. Illia Kovtun UKR 13.500

6. Artem Dolgopyat ISR 13.400
7. Antonios Tantalidis GRE 13.233
8. Jorge Rubio Cerro ESP 11.000

8:44 am. Thomas Grasso ITA FX: Double double, solid! Front full to double front, big step forward. Front double full with a step forward. Arabian double front, looked stuck! 2.5 to front layout, solid. Double full down the side. Full-in to finish. 13.700 (5.8, 8.000, -0.1 ND)

8:42 am. Antonios Tantalidis GRE FX: Front layout to piked double front half, nice! Small hop and some knee bend. Front full to randi, a little wild. Double front half, some leg form in the tuck. Clean double full side pass. 2.5 to tucked barani. Triple full with a small hop. Mostly strong work! 13.233 (5.6, 7.933, -0.3 ND)

8:38 am. Artem Dolgopyat ISR FX: He had a long wait for Karimi’s score. Double double layout, very straight body position and a good landing! Front double full to front layout. 2.5 to double front, skids a bit and sits it. Ugh! 1.5 to rudi side pass. Double double, small hop. Arabian double front half-out with a little stumble in the last pass. 13.400 (5.9, 7.700, -0.2 ND)

8:33 am. Milad Karimi KAZ FX: Randi down the side to start! Front full to piked double front with a step back. 2.5 to double front, a little iffy on the landing, may have taken a step OOB, or close to it. Double double stuck cold! Cool next pass where he does a handpring with a half turn into a front full to a front double full. Came up short on the triple at the end, both in rotation and on the landing, don’t THINK he put his hand down but it was close. 13.500 (6.3, 7.200)

8:30 am. Aurel Benovic CRO FX: Double double, tuck with a little bit of windmill. Front double full to double front, a little low with a step forward but love that pass. Piked double front is clean. Front randi side pass, damn! Arabian double front with a hop back. 2.5 to front layout, a little crooked at one point, maybe a hop? Great triple full, small hop. Love him! 13.766 (6.3, 7.666, -0.2 ND)

8:27 am. Yahor Sharamkou BLR FX: Front full to piked double front, solid. Front double full to double front, HUGE pass but hops it out of bounds. Double double, slight hop back. Double full side pass, stuck. 2.5 to front layout. Triple full, rotation is a bit off, two steps needed to control it. 13.933 (6.1, 7.933, -0.1 ND)

8:25 am. Jorge Rubio Cerro ESP FX: Front full to double front, REALLY low on the punch and he sits the latter half. Front layout to front double full, lands back on his heels and sits that one too. Ugh. Layout for the third pass. Double full side pass. 2.5 with a small hop forward. 11.000 (4.7, 6.300)

8:22 am. Illia Kovtun UKR FX: 1.5 to double front with a small hop. Randi is also strong. 3.5 with a small hop to the side. 2.5 to front tuck, that looked like a bit of a mistake, I feel like he was supposed to punch into like, a full or something. Arabian double front half-out with a hop. Triple full, chest a little forward, but not bad! 13.500 (5.8, 7.700)
