Women’s Golf Sits in 9th at Low Tide Intercollegiate

Mount Pleasant, S.C.– The Lenoir-Rhyne Women’s Golf Team competed at the Low Tide Intercollegiate Monday and sits in 9th after day one.

There are 17 teams in the competition and six are SAC competitors in Limestone, Anderson, Newberry, Coker, Wingate, and Lincoln Memorial. Limestone leads the field with a score of 301-288–589 (+13).

Beatriz Espelosin leads the Bears sitting in 16th place with a 75-77–152 (+8) after two rounds of golf. Katie Sibley sits just behind Espelosin in 23rd shooting a 79-76– 155 (+11). Megan Robb rounds out the top three finishing with a 83-77– 160 (+16).

The Bears will tee off tomorrow for round 3 of the Low Tide Intercollegiate at 9 a.m.
