Women’s Golf No. 3 in WGCA Coaches Poll

Coral Springs, Fla., March 2, 2021 – The Washington University in St. Louis women’s golf program is ranked third in the first Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Coaches Poll of the 2021 season. 

In the 2019-20 season, WashU won its first three fall tournaments – I-70 Dual, Rhodes Classic and the DIII NCAA Preview. The team set a new school record for low 18-hole (281) and 36-hole (574) at the Rhodes Classic. 

The Bears were ranked first in the Central Region and fifth in NCAA Division III in scoring average (307.64). They were No. 2 in the WGCA Coaches Poll on Feb. 21 and the Golfstat Team Ranking on March 19.
