SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The No. 10 Texas Men’s Golf team is in third place at the Cabo Collegiate at TPC San Antonio after Monday’s first round of play. Junior Pierceson Coody is the low-Longhorn on the individual leaderboard, sitting tied for second at 1-under par.
Coody, a Plano native, fired a 1-under 71, highlighted by four birdies to only three bogies on Monday. He birdied his opening hole at TPC San Antonio, followed by birdies on the 5th, 12th and 14th holes on the Oaks Course. Travis Vick is also in the top-10 individually after shooting a 1-over 73.
