Wabash College senior Justin Kopp has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 14, 2021.
Kopp placed second out of 27 entrants at the 2021 Franklin College Spring Invite held Saturday and Sunday, March 13-14, at Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh, Indiana. He fired a 36-hole score of 145, the best two-round score of his career. Kopp shot an even-par 72 on Saturday’s first day of competition, also a career-best effort over 18 holes. He finished two strokes behind the medalist from Franklin College. Kopp’s efforts helped Wabash to finish second out of three teams competing in the tournament.
