High-Tech Golf Experience Opens in North Fort Worth

Time to tee it up, North Fort Worth.

BigShots Golf is now open at 15700 Golf View Drive, just south of Texas Motor Speedway. The facility includes 56 high-tech tee boxes that allow patrons to either practice or play full rounds on virtual golf courses all over the world, as well as enjoy interactive games like Knockout and Pinball. Tee boxes also incorporate doppler radar technology to provide data on swing, speed, and distance.

Also on property is a full scratch kitchen, serving items like a PB & Jam Burger and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Mozzarella Bites, plus signature cocktails and local craft beers. Additionally, the facility features a mini golf course, an outdoor patio with fire pits, yard games, and private event spaces.

BigShots Golf is majority-owned by private club operator ClubCorp. The Fort Worth location, which opened March 15 for limited previews, is only the second in the country (the first is located at Vero Beach, Florida). Hospitality firm O’Reilly Hospitality Management also plans to open a Springfield, Missouri, location some time this spring and Bryan, Texas, facility later this year.

“BigShots Golf Fort Worth offers guests a fun and exhilarating golf, dining, and social experience,” Tim O’Reilly, a principal franchise owner of BigShots Golf Fort Worth, said in a statement. “Our venue will be a place where folks from across the metroplex and state can come to enjoy our state-of-the-art games and an incredible yet unexpected food and beverage experience with friends and family.”

Hours, pricing, and other information are available at BigShots Golf’s website.
