The Harding men’s golf team competed in the NSIC Preview Invitational at Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri on Monday and finished the day in 21st out of the 26 teams. Harding shot a 55-over 339, 41 strokes behind tournament leader Central Missouri.
Caleb Nichols led the Bisons with a 9-over 80. Nichols shot a tournament-best 13 pars in round 1 and is tied for 56th. Ethan Dahl shot a 14-over 85 and is tied for 102nd. Trevor Mellott used two birdies to shoot a 15-over 86 to finished tied for 109th.
Jacob Hefley shot a season-low, 17-over 88 to finish tied for 121st. Jake Croshaw finished the scoring for the Bisons with an 18-over 89 and is tied for 125th.
The Bisons will finish the NSIC Preview on Tuesday with one 18-hole round, teeing off at 8:00 a.m.
