LOUISVILLE, Ky–Davis Billows from Providence Catholic HS in New Lenox, Illinois has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play golf for Bellarmine University this fall.
Bellarmine Coach Marty Storch said, “Davis is a tremendous student-athlete, and he will be a good addition to Knights Nation both on and off the golf course.”
Billows finished in the top 50 of the 2020 Illinois State Junior Amateur, firing a 69 in the opening round. He also has had much success in the high school ranks, earning IHSA All-State honors and winning the 2019 regional championship. A Chick Evans qualifier, Billows is both a team captain and most valuable player for his Providence Catholic team.
Academically, Billows also has enjoyed a brilliant high school career. A member of the National Honor Society, he actually has a better than “perfect” grade point average, with a 4.1 on a 4.0 scale.
