Friday’s third round coverage of the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open will feature a couple of the game’s superstars in spotlight roles as Justin Thomas and Jon Rahm tee it up in the final group with Adam Schenk. The trio are tied atop the leaderboard at 13 under at Torrey Pines.
As action moves exclusively to the South Course for the final two rounds after both the North and South courses were played in the first two rounds, there are 49 players within eight strokes of the lead. Not among them are names such as Rickie Fowler, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth, who all missed the cut. However, stars such as Justin Rose, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed and Scottie Scheffler are still hanging around among the pack chasing the leaders.
