2021 Masters leaderboard: Live coverage, golf scores today in Round 2 at Augusta National

There was plenty of talk before the 2021 Masters began that the exceedingly low scores seen over each of the last few years would be a thing of the past. With less than 15% of the 88-man field finishing under par through the first 18 holes, that assumption appears to be accurate. The fast, firm greens at Augusta National made life difficult for even the best golfers in the world, and Round 2 begins Friday with a number of the biggest names in the sport hoping to avoid the cut line.

Justin Rose was the star of Round 1, carding an astounding 7-under 65, four shots better than the rest of the field. After starting 2 over through the 7th, he finished with an eagle and seven birdies over his final 11 holes. Despite Rose’s advantage, there are still a number of heavy-hitters within striking distance. It will be up to Rose to maintain his advantage as the field whittles down at the close of Round 2 on Friday with names like Patrick Reed and Jordan Spieth — both former Masters champions — still in the hunt.
