On Tuesday night, Chelsea fans became the 12th man at Stamford Bridge to help see the team over the line to get that all important three points against Leicester City as both clubs battle for top four.
Sunday, the battle continues, and Chelsea will now have to play against 12 men themselves and will need to activate full warrior-mode again, with fans being allowed back inside the stadium at Aston Villa.

Furthermore, Leicester City will have fans in their stadium as they face Tottenham, and Liverpool will have fans in their home game against Crystal Palace. These are the two sides that Chelsea are fighting with to land those very important Champions League spots on the final day of the season.
It is never boring, right?
We have often see our players fold under pressure this season and their mentalities questioned as a result, heads drop, leaders lack, and they have not shown enough fight and intensity.
It was there Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge, fully spurred on by the 8,000 fans in the stadium making it sound like a fully packed ground. Chelsea WERE warriors.
There is no doubt the Villa fans will be doing the same thing this Sunday against Chelsea, and we won’t have a soul inside cheering us on other than the coaches and the subs.
On the plus side, Villa have nothing at all to play for, and they cannot drop or go up a position in the league, they are simply playing for pride now, but I still fully expect them and their fans to turn up.
This will be a massive test of the characters of the Chelsea players, and after showing desire to win on Tuesday, they will need to do this again on Sunday but without the backing of their fans.
Let’s hope that playing in next seasons Champions League competition will be the only morale boost they need to get the job done, which I fully believe they will.
