A Croatian full back that can score stunning goals? Looks like both sides of the Glasgow divide might have one of those this season.

Josip Juranovic and Borna Barisic are international team-mates but look like they’re going to be rivals on the pitch this season with the right back set to join Celtic.

Given he is playing tonight, he could even make his debut against Rangers next week in the first Old Firm derby of the season.

But he scored an absolutely stunning goal that will make Celtic and Rangers fans happy given it was against Slavia Prague.

He picked up the ball in his own half and ran a lengthy distance before smashing it past Ondrej Kolar and into the back of the net.

It was a stunning hit from the right back, who is set to join Celtic in the coming days.

He was part of the Croatia squad at Euro 2020 and impressed and looks set to be the answer to Ange Postecoglou’s right back problems.

The former Australia boss has just Anthony Ralston available to him and while the youngster has impressed, he wants further cover.

Watch the stunning goal above.
