Tottenham’s head of academy coaching Chris Powell watched transfer target Ollie Tanner score for Lewes yesterday.
The 19-year-old winger put Lewes ahead from a free-kick in a 3-0 win against Merstham in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Tanner is understood to have trained with Tottenham last week.
The Athletic revealed on Thursday interest from Spurs and Brighton in the former Arsenal youth prospect. One club, believed to be Brighton, have already made a bid.
Lewes are expecting further offers. Around ten scouts representing Premier League and Championship clubs, plus a club from League One, were in attendance at the Dripping Pan yesterday.
