Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana has seemingly chosen French club Lyon as his next destination, that is according to a report via the Sun, that suggests Arsenal have missed out on their potential new number one stopper.
Terms are said to have been agreed for the 25-year-old who is still seeing out a nine month playing ban due to a banned substance, but the Cameroon star is set to be available to play again from November 2021.
Talks are still at a premature stage with no fee agreed with Lyon and Ajax, giving hope to Arsenal if they indeed are serious about persuading Andre Onana to come to north London.
Interestingly the report does go on to say that clubs such as Lyon and even Inter Milan are also looking at waiting until 2022, when Onana will be a free agent, but Ajax will surely want to get something this summer or risk getting nothing for their banned first choice shot-stopper.
Don’t Miss:
