Tomorrow could be a massive day for Tottenham Hotspur in their reported pursuit of Mauricio Pochettino.

The Sun reported on Friday night (10:30pm) that Tottenham want to start talks with Paris Saint-Germain about Pochettino on Monday.

The report in the British tabloid claimed that Pochettino himself is keen on a return to Tottenham.

Goal has reported today that Pochettino has asked PSG to cancel his contract.

The Argentine, who was appointed the PSG boss only in January 2021, is reportedly wanted by Real Madrid as well.

This suggests that tomorrow could be a big day for Tottenham in their reported pursuit of Pochettino.

If, as reported by The Sun, Spurs start talks with PSG tomorrow, then the French club will know what their manager wants.

Pochettino reportedly wants to leave PSG, and that will be a factor that the Ligue 1 giants will have to take into consideration.

If the 49-year-old wants to leave, then it would be unwise of PSG to keep him against his wishes.

The sensible thing to do would be to ask Tottenham for a compensation fee when talks start tomorrow.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will be prepared to pay some kind of compensation fee.

Pochettino reportedly asking PSG to let him leave falls nicely into place regarding Tottenham’s plan.

Now, Spurs will be in a position of strength, and perhaps Levy could even negotiate a relatively low compensation fee.

Tomorrow is going to be big for Tottenham in their reported pursuit of Pochettino, and fans should be excited.
