Fikayo Tomori joins the list of unavailable players, and it remains to be seen when he’ll return.

Tomori has been Milan’s most consistent defender this season, but even he is not immune to injuries and problems.

In the official squad list that was published by Milan this morning for tonight’s Fiorentina-Milan match, the name of Fik does not appear.

As reported by Milannews.it, the Englishman, who was at Milanello during the international break, suffered a discomfort in his hip after taking a blow in training. His situation will be evaluated in the next days to understand for how long he’ll have to be out of action.

This is the first match of the season in which Tomori will not play. He’s started in 15 out of the 16 games Milan have played this season, and came on as a sub in the remaining encounter. Mike Maignan, Alessandro Plizzari, Davide Calabria, Andrea Conti, Samu Castillejo, Ante Rebić and Daniel Maldini are also out for today’s match, leaving Stefano Pioli once again with a depleted squad.

It remains to be seen what Pioli will do with Tomori’s absence. Alessio Romagnoli has just returned to training after healing from injury, while Simon Kjær was supposed to rest after the break.
