Tom Rogic will miss Celtic’s next three games after picking up a hamstring injury.
The Aussie midfielder suffered the blow after having to come off in Wednesday night’s 3-1 win at Hibs.
Rogic was replaced by Nir Bitton on 44 minutes as the Hoops won through thanks to goals from Anthony Ralston, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kyogo Furuhashi.
The 28-year-old will now sit out their next two Premiership clashes – against Livingston tomorrow and at Dundee next Sunday – as well as Thursday night’s Europa League trip to Ferencvaros.
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has given a timeframe of two to three weeks for Rogic’s return – meaning he’ll be assessed after next month’s international break before a decision is made.
Giving an update on one of his star performers’ condition, Postecoglou said: “He had a scan on his hamstring. It’s going to put him out for at least two to three weeks.
“It’s not a major one but he definitely won’t be involved in these games. Then obviously we have the international window, and if everything goes to plan he should be available once we get back from that.”
Playmaker Rogic has been in sparkling form for Celtic this season – scoring once and laying on four assists in a multitude of impressive performances.
His absence will be felt at Parkhead.
