Manchester United are leaving no stones unturned. Days after completing a move for Jadon Sancho, they are working on bringing Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane to Old Trafford.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano says the Red Devils have identified Raphael Varane as their top target and are in contact with Real Madrid despite the fact that the Spanish team is, in fact, reluctant on losing him.

While the Old Trafford club is yet to submit an official bid, it is understood that the player has no problem in moving as he is keen on trying out new challenges.
The deal, however, won’t be as easy as United would hope considering their strained relationship with Real Madrid after the entire fax machine fiasco involving David de Gea.
That being said, issues involving the transfer fee might prove to be a hurdle as well. And hence, there are high chances that United will be forced to look for alternatives.
