As reported by L’Équipe, Ligue 1 Strasbourg are seriously considering taking the option to buy at the end of Marseille loanee defender Lucas Perrin’s initial season in Alsace.
Having impressed coach Julien Stéphan, who praised the centre-back at the end of the 1-0 win over Nantes on Sunday, Perrin has become a regular starter for Racing with Maxime Le Marchand injured and Alexander Djiku away at the AFCON.
The agreed price would be €1.5m for a player who impressed fleetingly at OM despite minimal game time before struggling at the start of his RCSA career, but the 23-year-old has recently proved his quality once more.
