Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the Gunners are set to sign Ben White.
What’s the story?
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported late last night that Arsenal have reached an agreement in principle with Brighton and Hove Albion over the transfer of £50 million.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported in The Athletic that Arsenal will pay £50 million in transfer fees for the former Leeds United loanee.
The 23-year-old central defender will undergo a medical before completing the transfer.

As you can see from the tweet below, Arsenal fans are pleased to see White on his way to the Emirates Stadium.
Well, some of them anyway.
The 23-year-old is a very highly-rated and promising young defender who has done well over the past two seasons.
The England international, who can also play as a right-back or as a midfielder, helped Leeds win promotion from the Championship and then played a big role in Brighton staving off the dreaded drop from the Premier League.
The defender played 36 matches in the Premier League last season and 46 in the Championship in 2019-20.
White was also part of the England squad that reached the final of Euro 2020.
