L’Équipe report that Sergio Ramos’ fitness seems to be improving since his return to training last week, and those around him believe that he could be included in the Paris Saint-Germain squad for the match against Nantes on Saturday.
Although the Spanish defender appears to be nearing his first appearance for PSG – having been out since the start of the season with a calf injury and knee cartilage issues – Neymar is expected to miss out. The Brazilian returned from international duty this week with a left thigh adductor issue, and is expected to be preserved for the midweek clash against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Presnel Kimpembe and Marco Verratti have also made their return to training after thigh and hip injuries respectively. Although their presence for Matchday 14 of Ligue 1 is a doubt, they are both expected to be match fit again to face the Premier League side.
Two players in the PSG squad are currently in the treatment room – Rafinha and Draxler. The German is sidelined with a thigh injury, while Ander Herrera returned to full training yesterday.
