Jadon Sancho is set to be unveiled by Manchester United as a new signing from Borussia Dortmund with a 73 million pound move to be announced.
England international Sancho is understood to have undergone a medical on Tuesday, paving the way for the transfer to be sealed.
Sancho scored 16 goals in 38 appearances for Dortmund in the 2020-21 season, before being part of England’s Euro 2020 squad where he missed a penalty in the shootout in the final.
It has been reported that 21-year-old Sancho has agreed to personal terms with the Red Devils already.
The ex-Manchester City youth player is set to head off on holiday later this week, meaning an announcement is imminent.
Manchester United came close to signing Sancho from Dortmund 12 months ago but baulked at the asking price.
The Red Devils finished runners-up in the Premier League last season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but failed to win any silverware.
United have already released a bunch of players headlined by Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero, with Tom Heaton arriving as a free agent.
