Speaking to the media ahead of Barcelona’s game with Levante on Tuesday, head coach Ronald Koeman discussed the Eder Militao handball incident in the Real Madrid-Sevilla game on Sunday.
“If Real Madrid want to complain, that is their problem. Even the referees have doubts, [and] us coaches and players do not know when it is handball. But it is not only in Spain, it also happens in other leagues.”
Koeman went on to reveal that he started watching the match between Real Madrid and Sevilla but then switched it off because he was nervous.
“I saw the first 20 minutes of Madrid and then [switched to] Milan against Juventus because it makes me a little nervous to watch it. I prefer to watch a different game and learn the result when it’s over.”
