RKC climb away from the bottom three with win over Go Ahead Eagles

RKC Waalwijk came away from Go Ahead Eagles with a 2-0 victory that takes them further away from the bottom three.

RKC Waalwijk took the lead in the 21st minute when goalkeeper Etienne Vaessen’s long kick forward was netted by Finn Stokkers.

In the 34th minute, Michiel Kramer stole the ball from Go Ahead goalkeeper Warner Hahn to easily make it 2-0 for the visitors.

Go Ahead Eagles failed to mount a comeback from that point and RKC took a victory which moves them to 14th and six points above the bottom three. Go Ahead is sitting in 11th.
