Beitar Jerusalem forward Richmond Boakye says he is working hard to become the next Asamoah Gyan for Ghana in order to solve Black Stars’ goal issues.
The 28-year old centre forward has been invited to the Black Stars since 2018 but is yet to prove what is he capable of in the national team.
However, he is determine to continue working hard in order to be a goal-scoring solution for Ghana have been struggling in scoring goals since Asamoah Gyan’s exclusion.

All of the strikers who have been brought to the national team never succeeded to fill in the big shoes of Gyan who is the leading top scorer in Ghana history with 51 goals.
“I know a lot of people have been saying that since Asamoah Gyan left we need a striker. I want to be one of the strikers to help Ghana score goals,” Boakye-Yiadom said in an interview with Joy Sports as per GSN.
“If there was Baby Jet [Asamoah Gyan] then we need Boakye magic, that is my dream now. So I’m going to work towards it.”
“I wish everyone who loves Ghana will support and pray because the more we have good strikers the more Ghana will move forward.”
