RMC Sport report this afternoon that Midtjylland have turned down Rennes’ third bid for midfielder Jens Cajuste in the past few days. The Swedish international has been a target for the Brittany side throughout the summer, but so far the Danish club are unflinching in their demands for the defensive midfielder.
Rennes are not expected to make a further offer for the time being, preferring not to overpay for the 21-year-old, who has nevertheless agreed terms with the club.
Among those also interested in the defensive midfielder’s signature are Premier League sides Newcastle United and Brentford, although Cajuste is looking to tie up any potential move as soon as possible.
