Real Madrid will increase Vinicius’ release clause to €1 billion, according to ABC.
The Brazilian forward’s clause currently stands at €700 million, but that, plus his wages, will be subjected to changes when his contract is reviewed at the end of this season.
AS have recently reported that Vinicius will sign a new six-year deal until 2028. His salary will also be increased, taking him into the second level in the squad’s pay scale, alongside the likes of Isco and Marcelo (around €8 million net per year).
Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard are the club’s top earners and take home around €15 million per year.
