Carlo Ancelotti’s second stint in charge of Real Madrid begins on Monday, July 5.
The Italian coach will have 13 of the 29 players in the squad available for Monday’s evening session. David Alaba, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Karim Benzema, Raphael Varane, Toni Kroos, Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard all played in the European Championship and won’t be back in training for a couple of weeks.
Four others have gone to the Copa America and another four will be at the Tokyo Olympics. Ancelotti’s first training session back will take place at Valdebebas at 18:00 local time.
