Looking to make it back-to-back La Liga wins this weekend, Real Madrid will make the trip to the Ciutat de València when they face off against Levante on Sunday night.
Starting with the hosts, despite opening the 2021/22 campaign tipped as a leading pick to land maximum points against Cadiz, Levante found themselves hit with last-gasp heartbreak on the road. Shocking many as they announced that now-former Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti would be returning to take charge over the summer, Los Blancos put on a thumping display as they claimed a 4-1 romp away at Alaves. Continuing to build off of their remarkable unbeaten run and now not tasting defeat in any of their last 19 straight La Liga showdowns, Madrid would have also been excited to see Karim Benzema open his account last weekend. Bagging a brace away at Alaves after lifting The Whites’ Golden Boot last season, there is no doubt that Ancelotti should be smelling a golden chance to claim back-to-back wins when they travel to the Ciutat de València on Sunday night.
