PSV Eindhoven has announced the signing of Everton defender Nathan Markelo.
The 22-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the season and will join up with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Jong PSV side.
Markelo made the move to Everton from Volendam as an 18-year-old but did not make his breakthrough in England. Last season, Markelo was loaned to FC Twente and made 13 appearances for the club.
Markelo can play across the defence and as a defensive midfielder.
