Paris Saint-Germain are looking for a new goalkeeper this summer to replace Costa Rica international Keylor Navas. The 34-year-old has been an outstanding performer for the Parisians since he joined from Real Madrid, but PSG want to sign a younger goalkeeper for their long-term ambitions. Reports from France, Italy and England have linked the French giants with several big names.
First name on the list was David de Gea. The Spanish goalkeeper has been criticised for the past few years as goalkeeper of Manchester United. The 30-year-old has a contract until the summer of 2023 but it is believed that the Red Devils are hoping to cash in on De Gea as they see Dean Henderson as their future number one in goal. It has been claimed that United have put De Gea in the window and are hoping PSG will make a move.
However, reports from Italy have now claimed that PSG have switched their interest to AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Italian international has an expiring contract and talks over a new deal have not resulted in an agreement. The 22-year-old could be out on his way at Milan with PSG being interested in his services. The Ligue 1 giants also hold a good relationship with Donnarumma’s agent Mino Raiola and could be a serious candidate to land Donnarumma should he decide to leave Milan this summer.
