The weekend is finally upon us, which means fans will be treated to another round of Premier League matches. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool delivered statement wins in Week 1 and will be looking to maintain their perfect starts to the season this weekend. On the other hand, Manchester City will look to get its title defense back on track in Week 2 after a shocking loss to Tottenham in their league opener.

Liverpool vs Burnley (August 21, 12:30 p.m. BST)

Liverpool will look to make it two wins out of two when it takes on Burnley in Week 2’s opening fixture. The Reds were unstoppable in their league opener against Norwich City, with Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah the goal-scorers in the 3-0 victory.

They will fancy their chances against the Clarets, who lost 2-1 at home to Brighton in Week 1. Anfield will certainly be rocking as this will be the first time in 18 months that the famed venue will be filled to the rafters with a packed crowd.

Manchester City vs Norwich (August 21, 3:00 p.m. BST)

Manchester City is in a bit of a slump to start the season, losing the Community Shield to Leicester City and its opening league match to Tottenham. The main concern for manager Pep Guardiola is his team’s inability to convert its scoring chances as it failed to record a goal in its last two defeats.

Expect City to end its scoring drought against a Norwich side that conceded three goals last weekend. The Citizens have won eight of their last 12 meetings with Norwich City, including a 5-0 thrashing in their last match.

Southampton vs Manchester United (August 22, 2:00 p.m. BST)

Manchester United will head to its clash against Southampton with momentum on its side after destroying Leeds United, 5-1, in its opening league match. Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes’s midfield pairing was simply unstoppable in that contest, with the Frenchman clinching four assists and the Portuguese star recording a hat-trick.

The Red Devils will look to replicate that performance against a Southampton side that is coming off a 3-1 away defeat to Everton. The last time these two teams faced each other in the Premier League, United won 9-0 after two Saints players picked up red cards in their clash at the Old Trafford.

Arsenal vs Chelsea (August 22, 4:30 p.m. BST)

It’s just Week 2 of the new season, but the pressure is already mounting on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. The Gunners stumbled in their opening league match, losing 2-0 to newly promoted side Brentford. It won’t get any easier for them as they will next face a Chelsea side that dismantled Crystal Palace 3-0 in Week 1.

More reinforcements are coming Chelsea’s way as Romelu Lukaku is expected to make his first appearance for the club since returning to the Blues after a blockbuster move from Serie A champions Inter Milan.
