Ange Postecoglou has warned about the challenges his side will face against bottom side St Johnstone in their Boxing Day clash.
The Australian watched in frustration as his side dropped two points against St Mirren on Wednesday amid a growing injury list.
The 0-0 draw in Paisley came following tight one-goal wins in their previous two league games and Postecoglou says that just proves that no game will be easy, even 12th placed St Johnstone who have only scored 10 goals in 19 Premiership games.
Speaking to Sky Sports the Celtic manager said: “If anything, it has shown over the last few weeks that all the games are tight,” he told Sky Sports Scotland
“There are no games you go into thinking they are going to be less of a challenge and St Johnstone will be a challenge for us.
Defender Carl Starfelt is back from suspension for the last fixture before the winter break kicks in.
A host of first team stars including Kyogo Furuhashi, Jota, Joe Hart, James Forrest and David Turnbull have all missed recent games and Postecoglou is unsure if any of them will return for the trip to Perth.
He said: “It is unlikely with the short turnaround.
“We might get one or two but at this stage I think it will be a similar sort of team that went out the last time.”
