Paul Pogba is getting further and further away from Juventus’ reach but the Frenchman is edging closer to staying at Manchester United.
La Repubblica claim that Pogba still has a liking for Juventus, the Bianconeri’s finances are making it very tough for them to resign the midfielder even on a free transfer. Even though Pogba’s current deal runs out next summer and he’d be available on a free transfer, Juve won’t be able to accomodate his wages even if they manage to sell their most expensive deadwood.
The Man Utd project meanwhile, seems to be convincing the Frenchman and they seem to be edging closer to meeting the €20 million a season asking price. Negotiations with United are said to be underway and Pogba believes that the signings of Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane is a sign of the club’s ambitions.
