Olivier Ntcham may have been cast aside by Celtic this summer, but he seems to be absolutely loving life down at Swansea City.

The French midfielder had quite frankly blown hot and cold throughout his time at Celtic.

Signed in 2017, Ntcham made 150 appearances for Celtic. Sometimes he was outstanding, sometimes anonymous.

After loaning him to Marseille in January, Celtic then terminated Ntcham’s contract last month. After deadline day, Ntcham headed to Swansea on a free transfer.

Ntcham scores unbelievable Swansea goal

Swansea were 3-0 down at half time against Luton Town on Saturday.

Russell Martin’s side needed to pull off a ridiculous comeback to get anything out of the game – and that’s what happened.

Ntcham sparked Swansea’s revival with a driving run forward. He picked out Jamie Paterson, who found the net – with the aid of some dodgy goalkeeping.

Ntcham then took matters into his own hands. Picking the ball up from around 25 yards out, Ntcham arrowed a serving strike into the top corner of the net.

Joel Piroe then bagged an injury-time leveller, capping off an unbelievable fightback.

Swansea’s official account have their say

Swansea fans are already loving Ntcham’s impact. They were raving about his performance against Hull City last week, and again this weekend.

Celtic fans know all about his quality, but Swansea now feel they have an absolute bargain on a free transfer.

Swansea’s official Twitter account have given their verdict, simply tweeting ‘Olivier Ntcham is very good at football’.

Celtic’s loss appears to be Swansea’s gain with Ntcham, who looks to be enjoying his football in South Wales.
