Jakub Jankto has joined Getafe from Serie A outfit Sampdoria on a 5-year deal for a reported €6 million.
The 25-year-old will wear the number 16 shirt for the La Liga side. Jankto, a Czech midfielder, is admired by head coach Míchel and his versatility in the midfield positions will be a welcome addition to his team for the 2021/22 campaign.
The Czech international played over 200 Serie A games and can play on the left flank, right flank and in midfield.
Getafe are now expecting left winger Marc Cucurella to leave the club.
