NYRB II to Host Miami FC on Third Annual Futures Night

HARRISON, N.J. – New York Red Bulls II (3-20-5, 14 points) will host Miami FC (12-8-8, 44 points) on Friday, September 9, at MSU Soccer Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN+.


Friday’s match will be the sixth all-time meeting between the clubs, all coming since the beginning of the 2021 season. Miami defeated New York, 2-0, in the last match between the sides in the 2022 season opener on March 12.

Red Bulls II will look to bounce back after falling 3-0 to the Charleston Battery on Saturday, September 3, at Patriots Point. Bento Estrela made his first professional start and logged the full 90 minutes.

Miami enters Friday with 12 victories on the season and is unbeaten in its last four matches. They are coming off a 1-1 draw against Birmingham Legion FC on Saturday, September 3, at Riccardo Silva Stadium. They lead USL Championship with 14 clean sheets and are tied for the fourth-fewest goals allowed at 34.

The match is one of two remaining at home for New York this season, both coming in the month of September. After Friday, Red Bulls II will play four of its final five matches on the road, including the last three.

New York sits 14th in the Eastern Conference, while Miami ranks 6th.

Following the match, New York will travel to face Oakland Roots SC for the first time in club history on Saturday, September 17. Kickoff at Laney College Football Stadium is slated for 10:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on ESPN+.
