Leaked: Newcastle United’s 2021/22 Castore home kit

Leaked photos of Premier League outfit Newcastle United’s home kit for next season have surfaced on social media on Friday.

Castore’s debut design

The kit donned by the Magpies at St. James’ Park of course rarely changes all that significantly year on year.

The black and white stripes synonymous with the Geordie outfit have been a mainstay throughout the club’s history, with this past season’s edition, under Puma, having returned to a thinner, more classic look.

If the first images of the fresh design set to be sported by Newcastle’s stars across the 2021/22 campaign are anything to go by, though, then a shake-up appears imminent.

As revealed by the reliable Footy Headlines, the Magpies’ home kit for the season ahead features just a trio of stripes across its front. A buttoned-down collar-of-sorts will also be present, along with a large ‘FUN88’ sponsor.

This comes with new manufacturer Castore evidently keen to make an impression with their debut design.

Sneak peek

Newcastle’s first official hint at the design of the club’s upcoming kit, meanwhile, certainly appears to line up with the aforementioned leaked images.

The Tynesiders confirmed via social media on Thursday evening that their new jersey will go on sale across retailers from 8am on Saturday the 10th of July, with something of a sneak peek having also been provided.
