New York Begins Two-Match Homestand on Saturday Afternoon with CF Montreal Matchup

HARRISON, N.J. – The New York Red Bulls (3-1-1, 10 pts.) begin a two-match homestand, starting with CF Montreal (1-3-1, 4 pts.) on Saturday, April 7 in their Autism Acceptance Night. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.


Coverage on MSG begins at 3:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Ed Cohen will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 3 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET.

This will be the 23rd overall MLS regular season meeting between New York and Montreal, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage in the overall regular season series, 12-8-2. New York have recorded a mark of 11-1-0, while playing Montreal at Red Bull Arena. CF Montreal are coming off their first win of the season, with a 4-3 victory over FC Cincinnati.

The Red Bulls recorded their first win and clean sheet at Gillette Stadium since June 8, 2014, this past Saturday. New York goalkeeper Carlos Coronel registered his 15th career MLS clean sheet and his 14th with the Red Bulls. He recorded five saves in the match, which is a season high. The last clean sheet Coronel recorded at Red Bull Arena was the last time New York battled Montreal on October 30, 2021.

Following Saturday’s match, New York will welcome FC Dallas to Red Bull Arena on Saturday, April 16. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
