Motherwell fans will not be granted an away ticket allocation for Rangers’ flag day fixture.
Gers will host the Steelmen at Ibrox this coming Sunday and will finally unfurl the Premiership flag after a delay.
Well have confirmed the stadium will be filled with only Light Blues fans, however, due to Covid restrictions.
Rangers say they must enforce a red zone so no away area will be available.
So, in a statement via their social media, Motherwell have told supporters they hope to come to an agreement with the SPFL to allow them to broadcast the match live at Fir Park as it is not being shown on TV.

A club statement read: “Motherwell fans will not be able to buy tickets for our weekend trip to face Rangers.
“Our opponents have advised us that, due to ongoing restrictions at Ibrox, no away allocation will be sent for Sunday’s match.
“Having initially been declined an allocation, subsequent dialogue led to Rangers providing us with a detailed explanation that, due to the displacement of some supporters due to a Covid “red zone”, an away section is not possible.
“While regrettable that no Motherwell fans can attend, we accept that Covid restrictions have led to an unavoidable situation.
“We have asked the SPFL for permission to instead show the game at our bars at Fir Park, and we are awaiting approval.
“Details on how to buy the match from Rangers on pay-per-view will be made available shortly.”
Steven Gerrard’s men won the Premiership title at a canter last season but waited for fans to be allowed inside their ground before hoisting the flag.
